Khairy: 14 casual contacts identified from M’sian infected with monkeypox in Singapore


KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry has identified 14 casual contacts in the country from the Malaysian man infected with monkeypox who resides in Singapore.

Its Minister Khairy Jamaluddin (pic) said that they had only one close contact from the same man.

“The 14 casual contacts do not require any isolation but we will continue to monitor the risks. They have not tested positive.

“As for the one close contact, the person is in quarantine in Singapore," he said at a press conference here.
